Who am I? I’m A.J. Luna. I’m a writer, and if you’re here, you probably already knew that.

I have a BA in Communication and French Studies, and work in healthcare credentialing. I wrote and managed web content for clients for 14 years prior to that.

I live in Chicago with my partner and two cats. Usually, they like her better than me. But not always.

I am neurodivergent, an adoptee, multilingual, a musician, a two-time marathoner, and a tabletop gamer. I’m a member of the Chicago Writer’s Association, the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences, and the American Medical Writer’s Association.

I speak English, French, and Italian, and I’m happy to communicate with you in any of them.

I write novels, a few short stories, and once upon a time, poetry. You may find some fragments of those things here.

After my first novel died in the query trenches (don’t worry – it probably deserved to), I started another one. I’ll be sharing my journey with that story here.
